A new indefinite sentence for dangerous individuals committing severe crimes is being proposed.

This recommendation was delivered to Justice Minister Gunnar Strömmer on Thursday.

"It concerns primarily individuals identified as serial rapists or those guilty of severe partner violence," stated investigator Stefan Reimer.

The proposal seeks to enhance public safety and address repeat offenders in serious crimes.
