Norrtälje municipality in Sweden is undergoing a political shift following revelations about the use of anonymous troll accounts by the Sweden Democrats (SD).
The controversy, initially exposed by TV4's "Kalla fakta," revealed that SD used these accounts to discredit other parties.
In response, the Liberals (L) withdrew from the coalition government in Norrtälje, which included the Moderates (M), Christian Democrats (KD), and SD.
This led to the formation of a new coalition government comprising the Social Democrats (S), Centre Party (C), Green Party (MP), and Liberals (L).
Robert Beronius, the Liberal group leader, expressed optimism about the new leadership, emphasizing its focus on future-oriented, decisive, and inclusive governance.
The new coalition aims to foster a collaborative environment, distinct from the previous administration.
