A man was seriously injured in a knife attack at a hotel in Arninge, Täby, north of Stockholm.

The man was taken to hospital with severe injuries.

Another individual has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

The cause of the dispute is unclear.

A third person has been questioned but is not under suspicion.

The crime scene has been cordoned off for forensic examination.

All involved are said to be in their 50s.
