A major fire broke out at a former beauty clinic in Sollentuna, north of Stockholm, in the early hours of Monday.
Around thirty firefighters from five stations were deployed to tackle the fully developed blaze, which erupted shortly after midnight.
The fire, which is suspected to be arson, led to the building's higher section being significantly damaged, while efforts were made to save the lower section.
There were no reported injuries, and the police have launched an investigation for suspected arson.
The firefighting operation was complicated by the proximity to a water protection area, prompting minimal use of water.
