Approximately 15 residents were evacuated from their homes in a residential area in Norrköping, Sweden, late Saturday night after a suspicious object was discovered.

The national bomb squad was called to the scene and neutralized what was later confirmed to be a live explosive device.

The incident is being investigated as an attempted murder, attempted gross public destruction, and a severe violation of the laws on flammable and explosive substances.

No injuries were reported, and residents were allowed to return to their homes early Sunday morning, with no arrests made yet.
