Linköping District Court was evacuated after a suspicious bag was found, potentially containing a dangerous item, police reported.

Significant safety measures have been implemented and the area is cordoned off.

Buses are being rerouted and a drone is flying over the courthouse to provide survey images.

The alarm about the bag came in at 7:41 AM and images have been sent to the National Bomb Squad for evaluation.

According to the police, there is no danger to the public outside the restricted area.
