A suspected dangerous object found at Landvetter Airport near Gothenburg was declared safe by police, leading to the lifting of an earlier evacuation.

The item was detected during a security check, prompting parts of the airport to be evacuated as a precaution.

Swedavia's press officer, Peter Wärring, confirmed that travelers were redirected to another security line, but there were no significant disruptions to air traffic.

The police conducted an investigation and determined that the object posed no threat.

Normal operations at the airport have since resumed, with passengers continuing their journeys without major delays.
