Starting May 1st, the Swedish trade union IF Metall will ease its blockade against Tesla's damage repair workshops.
This decision comes after the union noticed that insurance companies have been outsourcing work to workshops that lack collective agreements, a practice IF Metall aims to discourage.
The union has expressed concerns that its conflict measures might unintentionally benefit such operations, which operate without the labor protections collective agreements provide.
This move is a significant shift in the union's strategy to ensure fair labor practices in the industry.
