A 31-year-old man linked to the notorious Foxtrot criminal network was arrested at Arlanda Airport, suspected of the murders of two 14-year-old boys, Mohamed and Layth, last summer.
The suspect, who had been internationally wanted and was on the run in Dubai, voluntarily returned to Sweden to face charges.
According to his lawyer, he denies all allegations of involvement in the murders, which have caused widespread outrage due to their brutality.
The arrest marks a significant step in the investigation surrounding the violence associated with the Foxtrot network, with the suspect also being linked to attempted bombings and shootings as part of an ongoing gang conflict.
