A significant fire broke out early Tuesday morning in the small boat harbor of Björlanda Kile, located in Torslanda, Gothenburg.

The blaze engulfed eight boats, sending thick black smoke into the air, as reported by local residents.

Emergency services were alerted shortly after 5 AM and quickly arrived on the scene to tackle the flames.

The fire, which spread over an area of 20 to 30 meters, posed a risk of further spreading due to the close proximity of the boats.

By 7 AM, the fire was largely under control, although some boats had sunk.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, and police have launched an investigation, treating the incident as potential vandalism.

Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
