Emergency services responded to a drowning alarm in the Gothenburg area after a person was found in a lake on Midsummer's Eve.

Police, ambulance, and rescue services were alerted to the scene around 8:15 PM.

The condition of the individual is still unknown.

"We are on site and coordinating with the rescue service," said Anders Wennergren, the police officer on duty.
