Stockholm faces a critical shortage of places in Sis homes for troubled youth, with about ten local teenagers currently on the waiting list.
Alexander Ojanne, the city's Social Welfare Commissioner, expresses deep concern over the lack of available spaces.
"These are individuals who could either shoot or get shot at any moment, and they should be confined but are instead roaming freely," he states.
The situation highlights an urgent need for more Sis placements to ensure public safety and proper care for these at-risk youths.
