Police across the country had a busy Midsummer night dealing with incidents of theft, assault, and intoxication.

In Äspered, two men were arrested for stealing hot tubs and lawn mowers, thanks to a vigilant citizen.

Several assaults also took place, including a large fight in Fjällbacka and a serious assault in Hede.

Numerous cases of intoxication were reported, with several people detained and charged with drunk driving.

Tragically, three separate traffic accidents resulted in fatalities in Kiruna, Örkelljunga, and Löt.
