Centerpartiet has proposed a mandatory 'restart year' for foreign-born individuals who have been in Sweden without employment for at least three years.
This program, which will include studies, internships, and job matching, aims to help them secure employment.
Participants will be eligible for a subsidized job after completing the year.
Those who refuse to participate will face significantly reduced benefits.
Party leader Muharrem Demirok emphasizes that this is not about cutting benefits but providing intensive support to integrate individuals into the workforce.
