A young boy around two years old fell from a third-floor window in Gothenburg.

The incident occurred in an apartment in Länsmansgården at around 11:30 AM.

The child fell from a height of five to seven meters and has been taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The police have launched an investigation into gross negligence causing bodily harm, and both the apartment and the landing site have been cordoned off for technical examination.

Family members were present in the apartment when the accident happened and have been informed.
