Approximately 300 cars are currently trapped in heavy snow chaos on the E22 near Hörby.

The defense is sending armored vehicles to assist in the evacuation.

The police urge everyone to stay in their cars and wait for help, advising that the operation may take several hours.

Meanwhile, Linnea Nissen, a doctor from Kristianstad, has been stuck on the E22 since the morning.

She attempted to take alternative routes, but faced blockages there as well, and so returned to the E22. SMHI has issued an orange warning for heavy snowfall combined with wind, which is causing difficult road conditions in parts of northeastern Skåne.

The snowstorm has disrupted traffic in several places.
