US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, is set to visit Turkey to discuss, among other things, Sweden's entry into NATO.
Blinken reiterated the US's strong support for the ratification of Sweden's NATO membership without further delay.
The visit will also address the final steps for Turkey to ratify Sweden's NATO membership.
Earlier in the week, NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg stated in an interview that he believes Sweden will become a NATO member no later than July, when the defense alliance holds its summit.
