The United Nations General Assembly has passed a resolution demanding that Israel end its "illegal presence" in occupied Palestinian territories within 12 months.
The resolution saw 124 countries voting in favor, while 14 countries, including Israel and the United States, opposed it.
An additional 43 countries abstained from voting, among them Sweden.
This resolution highlights the ongoing international pressure on Israel regarding its policies in the Palestinian territories.
The demand for an end to the occupation comes amid heightened tensions and calls for a peaceful resolution to the long-standing conflict.
