Two trams collided in Gamlestaden, Gothenburg, injuring at least ten people, with one injury reported as serious.
The incident occurred shortly before 7 PM on Monday, when one tram reportedly rear-ended another that had either stopped or slowed down.
At least five of the injured were taken to Sahlgrenska Hospital for treatment.
A large emergency response was deployed, including the construction of a temporary bridge to access the crash site.
Police have initiated an investigation into the cause of the collision, considering charges of bodily harm and traffic negligence.
