A series of traffic accidents caused significant disruptions on the E4 highway south of Jönköping today.

The first incident involved four cars and occurred between the Råslätt and Torsvik interchanges.

Shortly after the vehicles were cleared, another accident involving two cars took place on the same stretch.

Emergency services were promptly on the scene.

Additionally, a separate collision at Barnarp led to a complete halt in both directions, with at least one person hospitalized.

The police have urged drivers to exercise caution and maintain safe distances as traffic resumes, though long queues persist.
