The gap between political blocs in Sweden is narrowing, with the latest poll by Indikator for Ekot showing only a five percentage point difference.
Support for Social Democrat leader Magdalena Andersson as Prime Minister has also declined, now at 42% compared to 45% previously.
This period of polling coincides with challenges for Andersson, including Social Democrats receiving their first defector in parliament.
Despite these developments, 41% of respondents still believe the government is performing well, marking the fourth consecutive month of increasing approval ratings.
The poll also highlights a statistical tie for second preference as Prime Minister between Ulf Kristersson (M) and Jimmie Åkesson (SD), each garnering 18% support.
