The Kalla Fakta revelations have provided Andersson with ammunition ahead of the EU elections, while Åkesson dismisses the accusations, using them to rally his base.

Kristersson's calls for a focus on policy were largely ignored, as Andersson aimed to make the largest government party seem irrelevant.

Johan Pehrson from the Liberals distanced himself from SD but faced criticism within his party for their cooperation.
