The Swedish Association of Health Professionals announced an expansion of their ongoing overtime ban in the dispute with the employer party, Sweden's Municipalities and Regions (SKR).
The expansion affects 29 municipalities, including major cities like Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö, starting from May 20 if no resolution is reached beforehand.
The new notice impacts approximately 5,000 members, targeting areas such as student health and home healthcare.
Since the initial ban began on April 25, there have been no negotiations between the involved parties, according to the union.
