The Swedish government has announced its plan for distributing 9.8 billion SEK to healthcare across the regions.
The largest recipient will be Region Stockholm, receiving slightly over two billion SEK, followed by Västra Götalandsregionen and Region Skåne.
The funds will be disbursed in two installments, with an initial sum coming in January and the rest to be paid out subsequent to the regions' performance.
“These are performances that all regions are working with and everyone will be able to accomplish them,” says Healthcare Minister Acko Ankarberg Johansson (KD).
