Norwegian police have raised the alarm about the growing presence of Swedish criminal gangs in northern Norway, particularly in the Troms district.
At a press conference, Police Chief Yngve Myrvoll highlighted that networks like Foxtrot and Gottsunda have established significant operations, including narcotics and fraud.
These gangs have become the primary threat in Troms, with local youths being recruited into their ranks.
Recent efforts have led to the arrest of eight individuals and the seizure of drugs, cash, and weapons.
Myrvoll emphasized the need for collaborative efforts between police, communities, and authorities to combat this rising menace.
