Sweden is preparing for varied weather this Midsummer.

According to SMHI, while Midsummer's Eve promises mostly dry and sunny conditions across much of Sweden, from southern Götaland to northern Norrland, storms are expected on Midsummer's Day.

The weather forecast predicts heavy rain in Skåne, Halland, and Kronoberg, with up to 36 mm of rain in some areas.

By Sunday, the northern parts of Sweden will also experience moderate rain.

Fortunately, warmer weather will return next week as a high-pressure system moves in.
