Sweden has launched a new initiative to enhance public preparedness for potential crises or conflicts.

The first recipients of the brochure titled "If Crisis or War Comes" were King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia.

This brochure, distributed by the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB), will be sent to all households in Sweden within a month.

It provides guidance on self-sufficiency for at least a week and includes tips on preparation and actions to take during a crisis.

Additionally, the brochure is available online for digital access.

Alongside this, financial preparedness is emphasized, with advice on securing alternatives to Bank-ID and managing cash reserves to withstand cyberattacks or other emergencies.

The initiative aims to ensure that citizens are not caught off guard during emergencies.
