Sweden is experiencing severe weather conditions, with temperatures reaching record lows in northern parts.
The cold snap has led to interruptions in power supplies, halted train services, and caused traffic disruptions.
In Norrbotten, temperatures dropped to nearly -40 degrees Celsius, causing a total halt in train traffic north of Boden, with a group of German tourists stranded.
In southern and central Sweden, traffic remains a significant problem with roads closed due to icy conditions.
Additionally, power outages have affected regions like Älvsbyn, with locals resorting to public buildings for warmth.
The cold weather pattern, however, is expected to reverse soon, with temperatures anticipated to rise by 40 degrees.
