Sweden's Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson declared a victory against inflation, stating that the country is now moving into a new economic phase.
The inflation forecast for 2024 has been lowered to 2.8%, down from the previous estimate of 3.1%.
Meanwhile, the growth forecast has been raised to 1.4% for this year.
Despite these positive trends, high unemployment remains a concern, and Svantesson emphasized the need for continued efforts to support job seekers.
The budget for next year will be approached cautiously to address ongoing economic challenges.
