After a brief return to winter conditions marked by snow chaos and traffic standstills across Sweden, meteorologists predict a swift return to spring.

Numerous traffic accidents were reported as a result of the sudden snowfall, with some motorists in desperation driving in the wrong direction on major roads.

Weather forecasts from multiple sources, including SMHI and Klart, indicate that temperatures could rise to as much as 15 to 20 degrees Celsius by the weekend, with plenty of sunshine expected across the southern and central parts of the country.
