If elected to the EU Parliament, he will prioritize the Palestinian issue and address authoritarian regimes like Hungary.

Sjöstedt also advocates for ambitious EU climate goals, aiming for net zero emissions by 2040. He criticizes both Israel and Sweden for their insufficient support for Gaza residents.

He personally boycotts Israeli products and plans to use trains for travel if elected.
