Early Saturday morning, a shooting targeted a residential building in Akalla, northwestern Stockholm.

Several people were sleeping inside the apartment; one person sustained minor shrapnel injuries.

Police reported that traces outside the residence suggest an explosive device may have detonated.

The site remains cordoned off, with a K9 unit combing the area.

No arrests have been made, and the incident is being investigated as attempted murder, serious weapons offense, and public destruction.
