Severe weather conditions, including strong winds, sudden ice, and snowfall, have led to a complete halt in train services between Södertälje Syd and Norrköping in Sweden.
The disruption affected the Mälartåg route via Nyköping, with the suspension beginning at 5 AM on Monday.
The services are expected to resume on Tuesday morning.
The weather has also affected SL's commuter trains.
Despite the weather warnings, traffic on the main line is expected to continue as usual.
The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) has issued yellow and orange warnings across the country with the potential of limited road accessibility, delays, canceled bus, train, and flight departures, and power outages in areas with airborne power lines.
The harsh weather conditions are expected to ease by Tuesday.
