The Russian spy ship Sibiryakov recently passed through the Öresund Strait during the Baltops military exercise in the Baltic Sea.

The ship, which had its tracking systems turned off, was monitored by Swedish, Danish, and German defense forces.

Sibiryakov, suspected of underwater espionage, shadowed the exercise's initial phase.

This movement sparked concerns among NATO allies, especially given Sweden's recent NATO membership.
