A roof collapse at the Intersport store in Lillänge shopping center in Östersund has resulted in multiple injuries, with several individuals transported to the hospital.

The incident occurred shortly after 11:30 AM on Sunday, prompting a swift response from emergency services, including police, ambulances, and fire departments.

Witnesses reported a sudden collapse, with one employee stating the roof fell just a meter away, prompting them to flee.

The shopping center has been evacuated, and the area around it has been cordoned off as search and rescue efforts continue.

The extent of the injuries and the cause of the collapse are currently under investigation.
