MS Ådalen III, with 144 people onboard, started taking in water after a grounding outside Kramfors on Thursday night.
The alarm came just before 8:30 PM, and rescue units arrived within minutes to help with pumping.
Despite the drama, no evacuation was necessary, and passengers remained calm as the boat headed to Gustavsvik.
Music continued to play onboard, and there were no reported injuries.
The situation was stabilized, and the ship moved towards safety under its own power.
