In a tragic incident at Sjumilaskolan in Gothenburg, an eight-year-old boy named Adil died after falling from a height on the school playground in March 2022. The school's former principal is now facing charges of occupational safety violations leading to involuntary manslaughter.
The trial, which began recently, also sees the municipality of Gothenburg facing charges, with the prosecutor seeking corporate fines against them.
Both the principal and the municipality deny any wrongdoing.
