Police in Sweden are sounding the alarm as criminal gangs increasingly lure young people from small towns.
Since early 2023, 14 youths from Blekinge and northeastern Skåne have been identified as involved in organized crime, including murders and serious weapons offenses.
Authorities express concern over the large number of unreported cases and are urging parents to monitor their children's behavior, especially during the summer when supervision is lower.
"We need the public's help with tips if someone is at risk," said Michael Mattsson, Deputy Police Area Chief for Blekinge and northeastern Skåne.
The police stress that initial contact often begins online, highlighting the importance of vigilance.
