Police in Örebro are urgently requesting public assistance in locating a man in his 40s linked to multiple fraud incidents.
Victims, including an 85-year-old woman who was robbed of her valuables and a 90-year-old woman who narrowly avoided a similar scam, were approached by the suspect at their homes.
Described as tall, light-skinned, with dark hair, a beard, and seen wearing a blue jacket and cap, the man allegedly posed as a bank employee offering to "fix" unauthorized transactions by sending an "assistant" to handle the victim's valuables.
Authorities have emphasized that such methods are clear signs of fraud, urging the public to hang up on suspicious calls and report any attempts or sightings of the "assistant" immediately.
