In a surprising incident in Glimminge, Östra Göinge, two police officers were hospitalized after a collision involving a police car and a motorcycle.

The accident occurred around noon on Landsväg 2111 when the motorcycle officer, who was awake and could talk but complained of back pain, slowed down for a car exiting a junction, leading the following police car to crash into it from behind.

Both officers were on a training exercise, not on an emergency call, at the time of the incident.

A special investigation has been initiated to determine the cause and responsible party for the collision.
