A mysterious bag suspected to contain human body parts has been discovered in a wooded area near Värmdö, just outside Stockholm, prompting a major police investigation.

The bag, found along county road 222 in Gustavsberg, was spotted by passersby, including motocross riders and hikers, leading to an immediate police response.

The area has been cordoned off, with police deploying drones for aerial photography to assist in the investigation.

While the contents of the bag have not been officially confirmed, the police are taking the situation seriously, conducting a crime scene investigation and seeking to identify individuals who were in the vicinity.
