In a tragic incident, a 21-year-old woman and her one-year-old daughter from Sjöbo municipality in Sweden died from poisoning after consuming toxic mushrooms, according to the Skånska Dagbladet.
The medical examination confirmed the presence of Amatoxin, a poisonous substance found in species like the deadly Amanita mushrooms, in their bodies.
The police, who have ruled out foul play, believe the mother might have mistaken the toxic mushrooms for edible ones like champignons.
