A man in his mid-twenties was found dead following an extensive search in Arvika, Värmland.
He was reported missing Tuesday night, leading to a significant search operation involving helicopters, drones, and canine units.
The man was found dead outdoors on Tuesday afternoon, about 700 meters east of the address he had left the previous night.
The cause of death is still uncertain, but authorities suspect he may have wandered in the wrong direction in the freezing cold.
The man was reported to be wearing light clothing at the time of his disappearance.
Police do not suspect a crime, and immediate family members have been notified.
