A chaotic incident occurred at a Max hamburger chain employee party in Malmö, where a police officer and a security guard were injured amid efforts to quell a disturbance.

The event, intended to celebrate staff from various restaurants in the region, escalated into violence shortly after midnight, prompting the summoning of police by a security guard.

Two young male employees, aged 22 and 27, have been suspended from their jobs pending the outcomes of a police investigation and an internal inquiry by Max.

Both men were arrested on suspicion of assault on an officer.
