In a significant operation in Nynäshamn, Sweden, authorities have seized nearly 1.5 tons of cocaine, marking one of the largest drug busts in the country's history.
The narcotics, discovered in a container in Norvik harbor, led to the arrest of six individuals, aged between 17 and 25, with connections to criminal networks in Stockholm.
Following a raid, the suspects were detained on charges related to extremely severe drug trafficking crimes, with the street value of the seized drugs estimated at over 1.3 billion kronor (approximately $130 million).
This operation highlights a major crackdown on drug smuggling in the region, as law enforcement continues to unravel the distribution network involved.
