In the early hours of Monday, a parking garage in Vårberg was engulfed in flames, leading to the damage or smoke impairment of approximately 60 vehicles.

Among the affected was Ingo Brandl, who had four cars parked inside, including one completely destroyed and others with smoke damage.

Brandl, who occasionally trades in used cars, expressed dismay at the incident, noting the times are such that disasters seem to be happening more frequently.

Alongside the vehicle damages, Brandl also lost around 1,000 eggs he had left in one of the cars, humorously remarking they must be "fully cooked" by now.

A woman with her car parked on the opposite side of the garage remained hopeful her vehicle was spared, grateful for her insurance coverage.
