In a major international operation against art trafficking, 85 individuals have been arrested and over 6,400 stolen artifacts recovered.
The eighth annual joint operation by Europol and Interpol, codenamed 'Pandora', involved 25 countries and was led by Spain.
Authorities conducted thousands of checks at airports, border crossings, auction houses, museums, and private residences.
Among the most significant finds were eleven items valued at over 60 million euros.
This coordinated effort highlights the ongoing battle against the illegal art trade and the importance of international cooperation in preserving cultural heritage.
