A man has escaped from a psychiatric facility north of Stockholm and is now on the run.

The escape occurred during a supervised walk when the individual managed to elude the staff.

Initially, the search involved police cars, patrol dogs, and a helicopter, although the helicopter was later withdrawn from the operation.

As of now, the police have concluded the search and have issued a warrant for the man's arrest, stating that there is no immediate danger to the public.
