In anticipation of the unique convergence of thousands for the first of May demonstrations and the Swedish Cup final in Malmö, the police have announced an increase in resources beyond their usual deployments.
This decision follows the expected arrival of up to 8,500 Djurgården supporters, a figure significantly higher than the typical 2,000-3,000 visiting fans.
To manage the situation, which is described as already strained ahead of Eurovision, the police will be coordinating a designated gathering place for away supporters and employing drone surveillance.
Additionally, with a focus on maintaining peace and order, the police urge attendees to enjoy the events responsibly, follow police directives, and avoid engaging in disruptive behaviors.
