In an effort to ensure safety during the Valborg celebrations in Lund, parents are being urged to join the festivities in Stadsparken to watch over the younger crowd.

Last year, the park saw a gathering of 35,000 youths celebrating the arrival of spring, with common substances being alcohol, cannabis, and opiates.

To further enhance safety measures, extra guards will be deployed to keep revelers away from train tracks, addressing concerns of potential life-threatening situations.

The Traffic Authority emphasizes the importance of adhering to rules to prevent dangerous incidents near the railways.
